Joseph Wisnieski, D.D.S.
Dr. Joseph Wisnieski is the new owner of Smile San Diego. He has been in practice thirty years and is a graduate of Loma Linda University where he received his DDS.
Dr. Wisnieski enjoys his ability to touch his patient’s lives. When asked what the best aspect of being a dentist is he simply states “being able to treat patients the way I wish to be treated and meeting the numerous patients that I now get to consider friends. “
Stephan Serino, D.M.D.
Dr. Stephan Serino is a graduate of the University of California at Santa Barbara where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in microbiology. He attended Temple University School of Dentistry where he earned his DMD. Dr. Serino is from North Hollywood, CA and is a member of many dental organizations including the ADA, CDA and the San Fernando Valley Dental Association.
Asking Dr. Serino what he likes about being a dentist he says: “Patient interaction, listening to the concerns of my patients and the ability to offer the best dental treatment possible are just some of my favorite aspects of being a dentist.” Dr. Serino has been with the practice a short time but has already developed a strong relationship with his patients.
Javier Valadez, D.D.S.
Javier Valadez, D.D.S. is a graduate of the VABC School of Dentistry and completed his cosmetic dentistry training at the UCLA School of Dentistry. He has undergone advanced training in the field of cosmetic dentistry, and has also completed additional studies with Invisalign® and implant dentistry.
Dr. Valadez embraces the practice philosophy of “patients first”. Says Dr. Valadez, “I believe that when we focus on the problem, we miss the solution. Every patient has different needs and hopes for their smile. As a dentist, I feel it is important to treat the patient as a whole, not just the pain. Together, we can find solutions to improve the patient’s overall dental health and smile.”
Claudette Pizarro, D.M.D.
Claudette Pizarro, D.M.D., originally from the Philippines, completed her dental training in March 1998 at Centro Escolar University. She began practicing in California in 2006, and we are so pleased to have her as a member of our team. Dr. Pizarro has completed additional training and certification in the fields of endodontics and oral surgery, as well as with Lumineers® porcelain veneers. Dr. Pizarro chose to become a dentist because she wanted to “be able to treat patients and eliminate dental disease and pain”. As with the other members of the team here at Smile San Diego of Mission Valley and Chula Vista, for Dr. Pizarro, the best part of her job is providing “consistently the highest quality dental care possible specific to each patient”.
Doris Fill, D.D.S.
Dr. Doris Fill graduated from the University of Cartagena School of Dentistry and began her dental practice in 2004. She has undergone extensive restorative dentistry training in the field of dental implants. Dr. Fill’s favorite part about being a dentist is “making a difference in a patient’s oral health. Also, the ability to help educate patients on the importance of dental care. Another satisfying part of being a dentist is building the trust needed to help a nervous patient overcome their fears”.
